Well Pete uploaded the new website today. Still need tons of product pictures.
Check it out and let us know what you think. This will be an ongoing project that eventually will be database driven. http://www.rctonewoods.com

Thanks for looking.

Hi Bob,

I really like the design of the website much more than the old one. I'm looking forward to seeing the mun ebony back/side sets :)

Awesome... [clap] Will the price be similar to Macassar Ebony?

Filippo Thanks for the input. We did try that and I didn't like the way it looked. A pop-up menu with 30 different woods isn't so nice when you have to scroll down to the bottom to get to Ziricote. That's why there's a cookie crumb to take you back to Back & Sides on each wood page.

Probably a bit higher than Macassar.

Looks great, Bob! Much improved structure, easier to navigate, Some of the text is a bit small for my aging eyes, but maybe it's good exercise for them. :D

Just my opinion, but I prefer the non-serif fonts for reading on a computer screen (though I do like the old-fashioned look of the serf fonts), like what's in the menu and product categories. They were originally developed to be easy to read on screens.

Lots of excellent work there. Pete's to be congratulated!

Pat

Hi Bob,

I noticed one more thing: I think the correct name is 'Engelmann Spruce' (not Englemann). After all it's named after Mr. Engelmann.
